''nothing is static,
it just depends on how much time you spend on it''

Everything in the universe moves, including the universe itself.
Nothing is static, although it sometimes seems that way. With this work Ilse wants to show that you can also experience the same route in a different speed. Slowing down may make you notice other things than you usual do. Experiencing the delay in an accelerated world.

Moving towards a constantly rush has disrupted our body’s natural rhythms as many of us feel an unremitting pressure to be productive around the clock. The elusive, slow and wonderful process of a living organism. That shows that nothing is static, it just depends on how much time you spend on it.
These clocks invite the delay, in the fast world around him. The slow growing organism that you only see moving if you look at it for a longer period of time. By taking a half hour break every week, you see the organism grow week by week. This is a metaphor for a creative process, not all growth is immediately visible, take your time.

Take a break,
slow down to see the unseen.
